Born in Ceylon, grew up in Scotland (St Andrews) with an Irish father and Scottish mother and have lived in New Zealand since 1974. I am a citizen of the world who has spent his life as an adventurer, a biologist turned humanist who expresses his spirituality through connection with the natural world.  I hadn't the slightest clue about my spirituality until about 8 years ago when someone close told me I was the most spiritual person he knew. I responded with Huh?  My wife recently described me as a Nature Mystic and I still don't get it… Maybe there lies the path of another adventure.

A Journeyman: This is an old word that describes that “Jack of all trades and master of none”. I believe this is not something to be taken lightly but is something to strive for Mastery with.

What has attracted me to Zaadz is the wonderful diversity of thinkers, inner explorers, an entire range of in-the-world people from the extraordinary to the ordinary.  I'm firmly in the latter camp after some decades of “doing” the former - how lovely it is to be ordinary.
